01Scope & commitment
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every account using Fyneri's Services. By using Fyneri, you commit that your business, products, and conduct will not fall into any prohibited category below, and that you will not use Fyneri to facilitate the same on behalf of others.
Because Fyneri uses Stripe for payment processing, you are also subject to Stripe's Restricted Businesses list. Where Stripe's list is more restrictive than ours, theirs governs.
02Financial services & regulated activities
Money services businesses
Money transmission, check cashing, currency exchange, payday lending without a license.
Cryptocurrency exchanges
Unregistered crypto exchanges, ICOs, NFT mints not in compliance with applicable law.
Investment advice without license
Securities or commodities trading recommendations, unregistered investment advisors.
Debt collection
Third-party debt collection, credit repair, debt consolidation services.
Pyramid & Ponzi schemes
Multi-level marketing with primary income from recruitment rather than product sales.
Get-rich-quick offers
Programs that imply guaranteed earnings without proportionate work or skill.
03Intellectual property infringement
Counterfeit goods
Replicas, knock-offs, unauthorized brand merchandise.
Unauthorized media distribution
Pirated software, movies, games, music, ebooks, courses.
Trademark abuse
Domain squatting, brand impersonation, fake official storefronts.
04Restricted products & substances
Controlled substances
Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, research chemicals, prescription drugs without a verified pharmacy license.
Tobacco & vaping
Tobacco products, vaping/e-cigarette products, hookah products (unless on a Stripe-approved program).
CBD & cannabis
Cannabis products are restricted; CBD is allowed in compliance with the Stripe CBD program where available.
Alcohol
Requires age verification and applicable retail licenses for the jurisdictions you ship to.
05Violence & weapons
Firearms & ammunition
Including parts, accessories that enable rapid fire, 3D-printable firearm files.
Explosives & fireworks
Including pyrotechnics requiring federal licensing.
Hate-driven goods
Items that promote violence against a protected class, terrorist organizations, or genocide.
06Adult content
Pornographic content
Adult video subscriptions, escort services, sugar dating sites, sexually explicit goods.
Sexual content involving minors
Strictly forbidden. Reportable to NCMEC.
07Gambling, sweepstakes & contests
Online gambling
Casino, sportsbook, fantasy sports without an applicable license.
Lotteries
Including unlicensed raffles where prize value exceeds entry cost.
Skill-based contests
Allowed where legal; requires accurate disclosure of odds and rules.
08Fraud & deceptive practices
Fake reviews / engagement
Selling reviews, followers, traffic, or any artificially inflated social proof.
Test materials & credentials
Selling exam answers, ghostwriting academic work for submission, fake diplomas.
Identity fraud tooling
Fake IDs, fake utility bills, services to circumvent KYC.
Bait-and-switch sales
Advertising one product and shipping another; hidden recurring charges.
09High-risk practices
Subscriptions with deceptive trials
Free trials that auto-convert without prominent disclosure are not allowed.
Dropshipping
Allowed when shipping times and origin are disclosed clearly; not allowed when products are misrepresented.
Pre-orders & crowdfunding
Allowed; must clearly disclose expected fulfillment date and refund policy.
Travel & ticketing
Allowed; ticket resale at above-face-value may be restricted by Stripe in some jurisdictions.
10Prohibited conduct
Beyond product categories, you must not:
- Use Fyneri to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
- Attempt to access another customer's account or data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the Services.
- Overload, probe, or scan our infrastructure outside of our published rate limits or security disclosure program.
- Submit false information to Fyneri, Stripe, or any payment network.
- Process transactions on behalf of a third party without explicit authorization (factoring / aggregation).
- Process your own credit card to advance cash to yourself ("balance transfers / cash-cycling").
11Enforcement
If we find that an account is in violation of this AUP, we may, at our discretion: (a) request additional information; (b) suspend processing pending review; (c) terminate the account; (d) hold funds in accordance with Stripe's reserve mechanisms; (e) report violations to Stripe, law enforcement, or relevant regulators.
We aim to investigate before acting. If you believe an action was a mistake, contact contact@fyneri.com with the subject "AUP appeal".
12Report a violation
If you believe a Fyneri merchant is violating this policy or applicable law, email contact@fyneri.com with subject "AUP report" and as much detail as possible (store URL, description, evidence). We review every report.
