01What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Cookies let websites remember things between visits (your login, your preferences) and measure how the site is used.
"Cookies" in this policy also covers similar technologies — local storage, session storage, pixels — used for the same purposes.
02Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site and the dashboard to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Examples: session authentication, CSRF token, theme preference. We do not require consent for these (GDPR ePrivacy exemption).
Analytics
Help us understand how visitors find and use Fyneri so we can improve. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool hosted in the EU. Plausible does not set any cookie and does not collect any personal data — it counts page views in aggregate. Because no cookie is set, no consent is required under GDPR, but we mention it here for full transparency.
Marketing
We do not set marketing or advertising cookies. We do not run retargeting campaigns from this site.

04Third-party cookies
When you load the dashboard or the checkout, your browser may load Stripe's scripts (js.stripe.com, m.stripe.com) which set their own cookies for fraud detection, anti-abuse, and proper functioning of Stripe's payment forms. We have no control over those cookies; see Stripe's cookie policy.
If you embed external content (e.g., YouTube videos in our documentation), those embeds may set their own cookies. We avoid embeds wherever possible.
05Your choices
You can control cookies in two ways:
- Cookie banner (rolling out soon to fyneri.com): on first visit, you'll see a consent prompt where you can accept or reject any non-essential category. Your choice is stored in
fyneri-consentand is honored across the site. - Browser settings: all modern browsers let you block or delete cookies. Visit your browser's help page for instructions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break login and theme persistence.
06Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out signal under the CCPA. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to opt out of "sharing" personal information — which is already the case since we don't share data for cross-context advertising.
Do Not Track (DNT) is not consistently implemented across browsers; we honor it where the standard is clear but rely primarily on GPC and explicit consent.
07Changes
If we add or remove cookies, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes (new tracking, new third party) will trigger a re-prompt in the cookie banner.
